About the role
Responsible for providing medication administration and patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and according to physician’s orders.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications.
- Document all medication administrations and patient observations in the medical record.
- Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care as needed.
- Participate in shift handovers and report any changes in patient condition.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
