Medication Technician - $15.00-$17.00/hour Tallahassee, FL | Full-Time & Part-Time | Multiple Shifts Available At Tapestry Senior Living of Lakeshore, our Medication Technicians do more than pass medications. This is a hands-on caregiving role where you'll spend time on the floor supporting residents with daily care needs while building meaningful relationships and monitoring their overall well-being. Credit given for experience. What You'll Do: Safely and accurately pass medications to residents, managing a large med pass of 20+ residents per shiftDocument medications and resident information in the eMAR systemWork the floor as part of the caregiving team, providing direct resident care throughout your shiftAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobilityMonitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concernsSupport the care team with communication, shift coordination, and resident needsMaintain a clean, safe environment that follows care plans and state regulations What You'll Need: Active Medication Technician Certificate1-2 years of Med Tech experience in a senior care or medical setting preferredKnowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocolsAbility to follow care plans, communicate effectively, and document clearlyStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality resident careWillingness to work both as a Medication Technician and caregiver on the floor Pay & Benefits: $15.00-$17.00/hour, with credit given for experienceMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending and dependent care accounts401(k) retirement savings planLife and AD&D insuranceShort and long-term disabilitySupplemental insurance (accident, critical illness, and more)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Perks at Work discount program Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time Available 7:00 AM-3:00 PM3:00 PM-11:00 PM11:00 PM-7:00 AM Rotating weekends and holidays required for all shifts.
