Medication Technician

About the role

Burbank Senior Villa West is seeking a Medical Technician to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about senior care and ready to contribute to enhancing the lives of residents through exceptional care and engaging programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in accordance with community expectations and medical guidelines.
• Keep accurate care records and follow established procedures, physician's orders, and state laws.
• Exhibit knowledge of and willingness to comply with medication policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Competent history in a similar facility.
• Valid First Aid certification and, depending on state regulations, current CPR certification, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, and passing an examination/skills evaluation.
• Maintain required continuing education and licenses.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and understanding English.
• Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
• Able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Able to bend, stoop, and push constantly.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Assisted Living preferred.

Pay

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour, DOE
