Medication Supervisor, LPN

About the role

The Medication Supervisor manages all Renewal, Inc. medication administration procedures. Key responsibilities include supervising Medication Technicians, ensuring proper storage and administration of reentrant medication, conducting medication audits, addressing discrepancies or non-compliance, coordinating MAT procedures, maintaining medication records, and conducting staff trainings on medication administration and Renewal, Inc.’s e-MAR system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Medication Technicians
• Ensure proper storage and administration of reentrant medication
• Conduct medication audits according to established schedules
• Address medication pill count discrepancies or non-compliance immediately
• Coordinate agency Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) procedures
• Maintain medication records according to standard medical practice, contractual requirements, and Renewal, Inc. policy and procedure
• Conduct staff trainings on medication administration and Renewal, Inc.’s e-MAR system

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN) License
• Two (2) years of related experience, supervisory experience preferred
• Experience working with a high volume of prescription medication and/or experience working in a correctional, behavioral health, or psychiatric environment preferred
• Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician Certification (PPTC) or equivalent preferred
• Proficient in operation of Electronic Health Record systems
• Valid PA Driver’s License and Act 33/34 clearances required
• Organized and detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Two (2) years of related experience, supervisory experience preferred
