Medication Safety Pharmacist

Overview JOB SUMMARY Performs all medication safety duties for the Pharmacy. Minimum Qualifications Education: An individual who is a graduate of school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Experience: 4 years of experience in the field of hospital pharmacy and demonstrated competency in Safe medication delivery management. The individual may have other training or experience with the approval of the director of pharmacy. Knowledge and Skills: Required to competently provide prescribed medications and drug information as needed to ensure adequate patient care according to professional standards/practices and hospital policy/procedures. License and Certifications: Must possess a current, valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of California. Equipment: Computer. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements. PAY RANGE $61.30 - $91.96 The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
