• Pharmacy Technician License in Massachusetts

Responsibilities

• Performs medication reconciliation on admitted patients in the Emergency Care Center
• Interacts with hospital personnel and interviews patients to obtain accurate and up-to-date medications

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Minimum of 3 months of pharmacy experience
• Excellent verbal/written skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications
• Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills
• Computer literate

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Experience in interviewing patients
• Able to decipher medication information and determine validity of the information
• Able to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma

License/Certification

• Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy

Age Specific Criteria

• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
• Ability to meet job performance expectations

Pay

• $16.63-$24.99 per hour
