Responsibilities
- Performs medication reconciliation on admitted patients in the Emergency Care Center
- Interacts with hospital personnel and interviews patients to obtain accurate and up-to-date medications
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience
- Minimum of 3 months of pharmacy experience
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications
- Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills
- Computer literate
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience
- Experience in interviewing patients
- Able to decipher medication information and determine validity of the information
- Able to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma
License/Certification
- Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy

- Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
- Ability to meet job performance expectations
Pay
- $16.63-$24.99 per hour
