About the Role
The Medication Authorization Advocate Non Specialty role is responsible for ensuring smooth patient access through managing scheduling, registration, and billing processes. This position acts as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams to facilitate collaboration and operational efficiency. The role contributes by supporting operational strategy development and monitoring quality, compliance, and performance indicators within the pharmacy department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee patient scheduling, registration, and billing to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Serve as liaison between clinical and administrative departments to translate needs into action
- Collaborate with management to establish, implement, and track operational goals
- Monitor staffing levels, budget tracking, quality measures, and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable job-specific experience
- Professional licensure or certification may substitute education or experience if applicable
- Desired experience with Epic system
- Required experience with medication prior authorization
Pay
Hourly wage range: $19.73 to $26.70
