Medication Aide (RMA)-Overnight Shift
About the role
This role involves providing medication administration and care to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications accurately, and documenting all activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications.
- Assist patients with daily living activities as needed.
- Report any changes in patient condition to supervising staff promptly.
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and software.
- Knowledge of basic pharmacology and patient care procedures.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency response plans.
