Medication Aide Overnights

About the role

A CMA is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Follows up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately.
• Ensures the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follows charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
