Medication Aide - Day and Evening Shift

About the role

Responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care. Duties include administering medications, monitoring patients, and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications according to medical orders
• Maintaining accurate patient medication records
• Assisting healthcare providers with daily patient care activities
• Monitoring patients for adverse reactions to medications
• Communicating with patients and families about medication regimens

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of basic pharmacology
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed

Pay

• $15.00 per hour for day shift
• $16.00 per hour for evening shift

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
