Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
- Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
- Provide compassionate, attentive support to residents throughout your shift.
- Work closely with the care team to provide consistent, quality care.
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for residents.
Requirements
- Active Medication Aide certification that meets Nebraska requirements.
- Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with older adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member.
- Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
