About the role

Part-Time Day Medication Aide (MA40) position with scheduled hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including every third weekend and holiday rotation. Scheduled days are Friday-Saturday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday-Wednesday.

Requirements

• Active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license required
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence
• Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $19.00–$21.28 per hour for Medication Aides, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
