Medication Aide (KMA) | Day and Night Full Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (KMA) to join our day and night shift team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. Our focus is on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Medication Aide plays a key role in ensuring medications are administered safely while maintaining a calm and supportive overnight environment.

Essential Duties

- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policy - Monitor residents for effectiveness of medications and report concerns to nursing staff - Accurately document all medication administration in the medical record system - Support residents with care needs as appropriate during the shift - Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations - Contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Kentucky - Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration - Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight hours - Commitment to professional, compassionate resident care
