About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our team at CountryHouse Lincoln I, an Agemark Senior Living community. Founded over 35 years ago, Agemark is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for residents and fostering a supportive workplace for our team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the nursing team.
- Aid residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Create a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel at home.
Requirements
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent based on state requirements).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for caring for older adults.
- Basic computer skills for medication documentation.
- Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
