About the Role
Provides technical support for laboratory procedures, performing basic to complex tests under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Accurately conducts tests following established protocols, evaluates results, and documents critical findings.
- Ensures quality control, performs instrument maintenance, and troubleshoots issues as needed.
- Maintains workflow efficiency and meets turnaround times.
- Participates in special projects and performance improvement activities.
- Performs continuing education, mentors staff and students, and contributes to lab safety and quality standards.
- Committed to maintaining security and fostering an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or related field required.
- Medical Technologist certification preferred; new graduates may be hired without certification but must obtain it within 180 days.
