Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist (Night Shift)

Role Overview: Performs clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols. Maintains equipment, records, and participates in quality assurance activities. May supervise and train laboratory staff. Key Responsibilities Ensures accurate patient and specimen identification, minimizes testing errors, and documents quality assurance investigations.Reports lab data accurately within turnaround times, interpreting results in clinical context.Monitors and resolves testing issues, documents procedures, and maintains communication with team members.Contributes to performance improvements, inspection readiness, and cost-efficient work practices.Maintains current knowledge of policies, regulations, and safety standards; participates in educational activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.Certifications such as MT(ASCP) or equivalent required upon hire.Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.Proficiency in computer/data entry, with experience in LIS, Epic, and 3M systems preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within healthcare teams.
