Medical Technologist - Laboratory

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of medical laboratory tests under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests using automated and manual equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all tests.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Document results accurately and report findings to supervising medical technologists.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
