Medical Technologist - Full-Time

About the role

A Medical Technologist performs accurate clinical laboratory analyses on blood, urine, body fluids, and tissues to support physician diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include interpreting and correlating test results with patient history, communicating critical findings promptly, and troubleshooting instrumentation issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents and maintain laboratory equipment
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform routine and advanced maintenance activities
• Teach in laboratory programs as needed
• Adhere to regulatory requirements to ensure quality and safety

Requirements

• NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• ASCP certification preferred
