Medical Technologist/ Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections
• Monitor lab processes and verify results
• Under limited supervision, direct daily activities of the section according to UHS Hospitals’, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC, and UHSH Infection Control Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Minimum required: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT)
• Preferred: One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory
• Minimum required: NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Preferred: ASCP Specialty Certification

Qualifications

• Minimum required: Six (6) years’ experience

Pay

The base pay range for full-time position is $60,175.00 to $102,000.00 (pay range is dependent upon position).
