Medical Technologist - Clinic

About the Role

Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens.

Responsibilities

• Conducts laboratory tests with accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintains proper documentation and follows safety protocols.
• Collaborates with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensures timely processing and reporting of test results.

Qualifications

Education, Certification & Licensure:

• Pathway I (Required): High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science; ASCP Certification Eligible.
• Pathway II (Required): High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training; Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalency) from an NAACLS Accredited Program; ASCP Certification Eligible.
• Pathway III (Required): High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training; Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalency); ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification.
• Pathway IV (Required): High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training; Certification: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.

Experience

Preferred: One or more years of experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in an accredited laboratory within the U.S. or Canada.
