About the role
Responsible for performing procedures utilizing standard laboratory procedures and instruments to make determinations of body fluids and substances to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease.
Responsibilities
- Performing procedures utilizing standard laboratory procedures and instruments to make determinations of body fluids and substances to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease.
- Ensuring accuracy and precision in all laboratory tests.
- Interpreting test results and communicating findings to healthcare providers.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of patient test results.
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - AMT
- Bachelors of Science or Arts in Biological Sciences
- Effective January 1, 2020, new hires must obtain the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) certification within 18 months of hire.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay
- $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- 8 on 6 off, Night Shift, 10-Hour Shifts
