About the role
As a Medical Technologist at Sovah Health Danville, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of patient samples for testing. Your responsibilities include preparing samples for testing, collecting and analyzing bodily fluids, operating laboratory equipment safely, and reporting findings accurately.
Responsibilities
- Follows standardized procedures and prepares patient samples for testing.
- Collections and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities, including blood samples for transfusions.
- Operates laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits; reports and documents findings according to organizational standards.
- Performs automated testing using computerized instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in science preferred.
- Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred (licensure must reflect education requirements).

Hourly range: $27.97-$36.12 per hour.
