Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the medical team
- Lead and oversee all pods
- Create new policies and processes in response to barriers or weaknesses in the current process
- Complete performance evaluations based on written expectations
- Support emergency medical situations in real time by providing primary care to our residents
- Research and implement ways to improve healthcare processes
- Conduct trainings for new medical coordinators & floats at hire and on an ongoing basis
- Train on new policies
- Evaluate competencies on existing processes and coach for performance improvement
- Auditing of EMR, scripts, MAR, and appointment records
Qualifications
- State of Michigan licensed LPN or RN
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a medical related field
- Experience in Adult Foster Care is a plus
- Ability to supervise a multilevel department
- Ability to multitask in a high stress, dynamic environment
