About the role

The Medical Sales Representative at Shields Health supports the organization's mission by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with referring physicians and their staff. This role involves achieving or exceeding annual sales targets, educating the community about new imaging technologies, and participating in various marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed objectives set by management annually
  • Create and implement a territory management plan
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential referring physicians and their staff
  • Educate the referring community about advancements in imaging technology
  • Call on specific regions of physician offices and groups on a scheduled day and time
  • Monitor and update referral volume data and competitive surveys
  • Participate in weekly conference calls and quarterly meetings with the marketing team
  • Attend and contribute to monthly staff meetings and quarterly strategy reviews
  • Retrieve and respond to voicemails, texts, and emails
  • Accurately and promptly submit expense reports
  • Provide information for quarterly Joint Venture Board meetings

Requirements

  • 2 years of prior medical sales experience
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Tactful persuasion abilities
  • Skilled in using automated computer systems and software applications
  • Ability to manage confidentiality and handle stress
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing
  • Physical requirements: ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods, use computers and telephones, lift and carry up to 20 pounds, drive a vehicle, and have a valid driver’s license

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits. Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
