Position Summary
Responsible for processing, maintenance and security of medical records
Principal Responsibilities
- Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Provides accurate and efficient management of medical records
- Provides timely management of ADR, TPL, Attorney and other record requests
- Affords assistance with ordering and stocking supplies and equipment for the department
- Provides back-up for other support positions in the Medical Records Department
- Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 2-3 years of work related experience
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of systems required to maintain and archive medical records
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00.
