Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data from medical records using CPT codes, ICD-9/10 codes, and medical terminology.
- Examine medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Utilize strong ten-key skills by touch for efficient data entry.
- Collaborate effectively with the team using strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Apply critical thinking skills to navigate complex billing scenarios.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medical terminology.
- Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-9/10 codes.
- Skilled in examining medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Ten-key by touch proficiency.
- Workers' compensation experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Must reside within the Dallas, Texas area.

Pay
$40,000 - $41,600 per year.
Once an offer has been extended and accepted, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a background and drug screen.
