1. About Our Client:The organization operates in the healthcare sector, addressing the challenge of opioid use disorder (OUD). It provides access to FDA-approved medication and clinical care through a telehealth platform, focusing on discreet, convenient, and affordable treatment. The team includes physicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and advisors, working to improve OUD treatment across 14 states with nearly six years of experience. 2. About the Opportunity:The Medical Records & Billing Administrator plays a key role in managing medical records requests, payer communications, and billing-related activities. This position supports timely compliance with payer and regulatory requirements and contributes to the effectiveness of the Revenue Operations team's audit and billing functions. 3. Responsibilities:• Process medical records requests with accuracy and timeliness• Manage incoming payer mail and respond to urgent requests• Handle billing refunds, payer reconsiderations, and manual claim processing• Support audit documentation and record retrieval• Identify inefficiencies in medical records and billing workflows• Assist other billing team tasks as needed 4. Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred• 1–2+ years of experience in medical records, healthcare billing, or related administrative roles preferred• Familiarity with payer processes, medical billing terminology, and claims workflows is a plus• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under deadlines• Effective written and verbal communication skills• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a private workspace suitable for confidential information 5.
