Responsibilities

Responsible for analysis of East Alabama Medical Center inpatient, outpatient, and recurring records to ensure completeness of the record and compliance with regulatory agencies by analyzing records for deficiencies as defined by quantitative analysis procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred Education: Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology
• Preferred Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in analysis in acute care setting
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification: RHIT or RHIA
