Essential Position Duties

  • Greeting warmly and maintaining a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
  • Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Answers phones and greets patients with the utmost professionalism and care.
  • Works closely with Billing Department, Physical Therapists, and Aide staff to assure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group.
  • Reviews Copay collection reports and helps identify accounts that may need to be reviewed.
  • Audits Journeys/Dashboard to ensure they are being worked on in a timely manner.
  • Audits Payer Direct Portal to ensure notes are being uploaded and AUTH’s are pulled.
  • Checks FOC Chats to ensure messages are being responded to and worked on.
  • Chart audit day/s in advance to ensure we have charts with documents and AUTH’s as required.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a well thought-out, easily understood manner, both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles.
  • Ability to communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others, and give and receive feedback objectively.
  • Must be able to identify and problem solve.
  • Possess dedicated team player attributes.
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients nearby.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment.
  • Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and present reports.
