Position Summary

We’re looking for an organized, customer-focused team member to support our clinicians and serve as the first point of contact for our patients and caregivers. As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll manage a high volume of calls, deliver excellent service, and assist with key administrative tasks that help our care team provide exceptional in-home medical support.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  • Answers high volume of phone calls while providing excellent customer service
  • Provides administrative support to clinicians
  • Performs registration of new patients and insurance verifications
  • Provides back-up support for other team members as needed
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 2-3 years work related experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA
  • Knowledge of SpringCM archive system preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Pay

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
