Medical Receptionist
Responsible for
Managing a high volume of inbound calls for the Ophthalmology/Eye Care Department, serving as the first point of contact for patients seeking care. This role schedules initial consultations and follow-up appointments, completes new patient registration, and ensures accurate collection and verification of patient demographic and insurance information. Provides exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, coordinating appointment needs, and facilitating a seamless patient experience.
Additional Responsibilities
- Cross-training to support front desk operations and patient check-in processes, such as greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage, updating patient records, collecting required documentation, and coordinating patient flow within the clinic.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of receptionist experience
- Medical receptionist experience preferred
- Experience using Epic
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.16 - $25.16/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
