About the role
The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This position supports front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow in a busy medical office.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; manage front desk operations
- Coordinate complex provider surgical calendars
- Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage multiple EMR/EHR systems
- Collect of patient outstanding fees for scheduled procedure and/or payment responsibilities (Copay, Deductibe)
- Manage patient flow and support providers and clinical staff
- Handle medical records and sensitive patient information
- Provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus, Nexgen and iMedicware
Qualifications
- Preferred: Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required

Schedule
Available shifts: 8 hours shift - (Shift A) - 5:30am -3:00pm or (Shift B) - 11am - 8:00pm
