About the role

The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This position supports front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow in a busy medical office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients; manage front desk operations
  • Coordinate complex provider surgical calendars
  • Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records
  • Manage multiple EMR/EHR systems
  • Collect of patient outstanding fees for scheduled procedure and/or payment responsibilities (Copay, Deductibe)
  • Manage patient flow and support providers and clinical staff
  • Handle medical records and sensitive patient information
  • Provide administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus, Nexgen and iMedicware

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation required

Pay

Full time, no weekends!

Schedule

Available shifts: 8 hours shift - (Shift A) - 5:30am -3:00pm or (Shift B) - 11am - 8:00pm
