Medical Receptionist
About the role
Join our dedicated outpatient team at the Covington clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring accurate billing and payments.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly, including collecting copay at the time of visit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail, Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.
- This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail, Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.

- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Pay
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year.
