Medical Receptionist
About the role
We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist who is fluent in Spanish with excellent administrative skills and a passion for concierge-level customer service. You will be the crucial first point of contact for our Health Center, responsible for managing the patient flow, coordinating records, and supporting the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Patient Flow Management: Greet, screen, schedule, and check patients in and out efficiently.
- Communication: Perform medical receptionist duties, including answering the telephone, screening calls, taking messages, and providing necessary information.
- Record Coordination: Obtain, verify, and update patient information. Request, locate, send, and receive patient medical records.
- Administrative Support: Maintain files, assist in establishing office systems, order office and clinical supplies, and assist in the care and maintenance of office equipment.
- Support Services: Provide necessary support services to patients and medical staff.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
- Diploma as a Medical Administrative Assistant from an accredited vocational course preferred.
- Experience (Required): Minimum two years of administrative assistant experience in a medical office setting. Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation for correspondence and reports. Strong organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving. Skill in operating standard office equipment.

This is a full-time, 38 hour per week, benefit-eligible opportunity.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 7:00 am-6:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm
