Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of clerical and clinical duties while providing professional and courteous support to patients, physicians, office, and hospital staff.
- Assists with a variety of medical paperwork, including triage of paperwork, diagnoses results, and ordering.
- Facilitates admitting of patients.
- Communicates with primary care physicians (PCP) regarding patient’s status.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years' experience in a medical practice setting, assisting physicians, or equivalent training in a related field (preferred).
- High school education or equivalent (required).
