About the role
The Quality Improvement Reviewer monitors and enhances clinical and operational services within crisis stabilization units.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of medical records to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with leadership to develop corrective action plans.
- Investigate incidents and support a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
- Review documentation accuracy and participate in audits and training.
- Monitor regulatory adherence and prepare reports on quality indicators.
- Serve as a resource for staff, providing education on documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with preparing for surveys and accreditation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Florida LPN license (RN preferred).
- At least two years of healthcare experience.
- CPR certification.
- Crisis intervention training.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of behavioral health documentation and regulatory standards.
- Understanding of quality improvement principles.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
