About the role

A Medical Practice RN in Primary Care assists clinicians in delivering patient care and ensures the smooth operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Triages and assesses patient conditions via phone or in-person consultations.
• Determines urgency and care needs, provides medical advice, and communicates with care team members.
• Prepares materials and assists with patient examinations.
• Obtains medical histories and provides direct care such as vaccinations, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Instructs patients and caregivers on preventive care and medication management.
• Performs follow-up calls, relays test results, and supports quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance, maintains organizational values, and demonstrates dependable attendance.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the respective state.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of related experience; one-year supervisory experience preferred, five years preferred.
• Associate degree preferred; previous medical office experience is a plus.
• Manual dexterity, physical effort, and adherence to compliance standards.
