Medical Operations Technical Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Operations Technical Specialist to join our Community Medical Outreach (CMO) team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Deploy domestically with volunteers and staff to Samaritan's Purse CMO clinics
• Oversee the setup, take down, and non-clinical operations of each clinic
• Facilitate preventative maintenance of biomedical equipment, to include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning/sanitizing equipment to meet regulatory standards
• Assist in the design, research, and development of new non-clinical innovations and equipment
• Ensure non-clinical functions for the program are performed in a timely and high-quality manner, to include assisting and identifying appropriate clinic locations capable of providing safe and effective utility access
• Assist in the management of domestic medical program consumables as needed, to include categorizing and completing inventory, as well as packing and loading for clinic set up
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management or similar leadership role
• Experience within a health-related field strongly preferred
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire
