Medical Operations Manager/ Practice Manager

About the role

The Practice Manager leads the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing weight loss clinic, helping patients transform their lives. This role combines leadership, sales, and hands-on clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team by building genuine relationships with patients and staff, in person and on the phone.
• Hit and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff to reach their goals, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Run weekly team meetings that align everyone, deliver training, and keep the clinic consistent with franchise standards.
• Own the details of daily operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and secure cash handling.
• Use company-approved phone scripts to schedule appointments and engage patients effectively.
• Lead compelling one-on-one consultations to onboard new patients and grow the practice.
• Follow up with patients to keep them on track, re-engage no-shows, and deliver standout experiences.
• Perform clinical tasks such as vitals, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy (training provided).
• Coach patients weekly on nutrition and progress, documenting patient progress accurately in charts and the EMR system.
• Pitch in on additional clinical duties to support the team.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of nutrition and exercise, from basic to advanced.

• Basic understanding of insurance benefits verification.

Schedule

Clinic hours: Monday - Closed, Tuesday - 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday - 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday - 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday - 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday - 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
