About the role
Provides specialized oncology nursing care in a 32-bed unit, supporting patients with cancer treatment, symptom management, immunosuppression, and neutropenia.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with an interprofessional team.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Participate in professional development and multidisciplinary team activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ADN; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license required.
- Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
