New Hanover Regional Medical Center - Medical Oncology is looking for a compassionate, caring Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to provide oncological care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. Our specialists are committed to working with you and the rest of your care team to create a personalized treatment plan designed with you in mind. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments for management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions.

Schedule

Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM (No call/No weekends)

Requirements

  • Master's Degree required; graduate of an NCCPA-accredited physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • One to three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider; experience with Breast Oncology preferred.
  • Current PA license in the appropriate state.
  • NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry.
  • ACLS certification (if working in infusion center or cardiac specialty).
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
