Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments—such as detailed histories and physical examinations
- Support patients through complex decision-making and care transitions
- Manage chemotherapy clearance and independently evaluate patients
- Oversee patient care in the absence of the supervising physician(s)
- Confidently manage patient encounters through telehealth platforms
- May include hospital rounding as needed
Requirements
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
- Oncology experience preferred; minimum 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Spanish speaking is preferred
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
