Medical Oncologist - Locum Coverage

About the Role

An outpatient medical oncologist will provide clinic coverage, managing 15-18 adult patients daily in a hospital-based setting. This role is designed for clinicians seeking locum positions and offers a comprehensive support system, seamless credentialing, and a digital platform for assignment management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient oncology care.
• Document all patient encounters accurately using the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in call duties from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM via phone.
• Conduct outpatient visits on designated days.
• Provide night call coverage.
• Coordinate treatment plans within established clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Active Indiana medical license.
• Board certification negotiable.
• Ability to handle variable treatment types.

Support

Support staff includes an RN, MA, and APP to assist in patient care.
