About the role
Join the largest breast health program in Rhode Island. We are seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist with an interest in breast health to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with breast cancer.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary tumor board.
- Offer integrative therapy services including nutritionists, navigators, therapy dogs, and support groups.
- Work closely with breast surgeons, APCs, RNs, MAs, and LICSWs.
- Manage a patient population with an average daily census of 15-20.
- Conduct both outpatient and inpatient consults at our facility and nearby hospital.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system across the health system.
Requirements
- Board certification in medical oncology.
- Experience in breast cancer management preferred.
- Interest in and commitment to breast health.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Eligible for licensure in Rhode Island.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
