Medical Office Specialist OBGYN

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Office Specialist for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Less than one year of experience is required, one to three years of experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably within an OB/GYN practice.
  • Experience collecting copays, deductibles, and patient payments.
  • Familiarity with preparing and explaining Good Faith Estimates.
  • Ability to review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to patients.
  • Experience with insurance verification, ideally in an OB/GYN setting.
  • Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong appointment scheduling and patient coordination skills.
