Medical Office Specialist OBGYN
Job Summary
Seeking a Medical Office Specialist for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.
Qualifications
- Less than one year of experience is required, one to three years of experience is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably within an OB/GYN practice.
- Experience collecting copays, deductibles, and patient payments.
- Familiarity with preparing and explaining Good Faith Estimates.
- Ability to review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to patients.
- Experience with insurance verification, ideally in an OB/GYN setting.
- Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred, but not required.
- Strong appointment scheduling and patient coordination skills.
