About the role
Performs various front office and back office patient care duties. Assists with the flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and performs preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the physician's time.

Responsibilities
- Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner; demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other departments in accordance with Service Excellence Standards.
- Registers all patients in EMR, including retrieval of all demographics, financial, and insurance information from patients.
- Secures all necessary signatures on required forms and manages all check-in/check-out processes.
- Answers incoming calls, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information to the appropriate care team; demonstrates appropriate and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Assists with booking patients for scheduling appointments to ancillary labs and other services.
- Treats all individuals with respect, including patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers, using G.R.E.A.T communication standards and abiding by HIPAA.
- Sorts and delivers mail, medical records, and other correspondence.
- Attends meetings as required and participates in departmental quality assurance endeavors.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Korean and English.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- High School Graduate or equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience in a related field.
Schedule
Full Time
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay
The rate of pay for this position starts at a minimum of $16.50 per hour and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
