About the role

A top-tier New York City insurance defense firm is seeking Medical Malpractice Defense Attorneys with proven experience representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers in complex litigation. We are hiring attorneys at all levels—from mid-level associates to senior litigators and trial counsel—who are ready to grow their careers in a collaborative, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Defend hospitals, physicians, nurses, and medical professionals in malpractice claims
• Handle medical records, expert review, and complex discovery
• Prepare for trials and courtroom appearances (experience is a strong plus)

Additional relevant experience may include: general liability, slip and fall, premises liability, labor law, and construction defect.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
