Responsibilities

• Manage and file medical liens for patients involved in personal injury claims
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation, such as medical records and billing information
• Communicate with legal professionals
• Support and maintain patient records
• Fulfill lien filing compliance and adhere to policies
• Filing liens either in person or online is integral to this position
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and enhance overall effectiveness

Requirements

• A clean driving record and reliable source of transportation is required
• A High School or GED is required
• Experience or knowledge of the personal injury legal process, medical billing, or insurance claims processing is a plus
• Self-motivated with a desire to build great relationships and meet goals
• Ability to multitask while on the phone and the computer
• Adaptability to change and quick task pivoting
• Quick and accurate work to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, attorneys, and medical providers
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
