About the Role

The Medical Claims Specialist role ensures claims are handled accurately and thoughtfully, supporting members, clients, providers, and internal operations teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Serving members, clients, providers, and internal operations teams by handling claims accurately and resolving issues
• Supporting members and providers by answering questions and resolving claim issues with clarity and care
• Collaborating with third-party administrator (TPA) partners, providers, and internal operations teams to keep things moving smoothly
• Improving claims accuracy, turnaround time, and the overall member experience
• Advocating for members by ensuring their claims are handled correctly and fairly the first time

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should:

• Have 1 year of experience in medical claims processing
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Be able to meet production and quality standards consistently
• Have solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Have a professional, client-focused approach to colleagues and assignments

Pay

The starting pay for this role is $20.75 per hour.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days of in-office attendance per week.
