Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop associate veterinarians.

  • Partner with the Practice Manager to build a healthy and engaged team.

  • Drive continuous improvement in patient care and client service.

  • Set the example for medical excellence, client service, and efficiency.

  • Manage hospital financial performance toward an EBITDA goal.

  • Foster a culture of growth through monthly doctor meetings, externship, and mentorship programs.

  • Serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health through community engagement.

Requirements

  • DVM degree and valid state license in good standing.

  • Minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience.

  • Service-oriented leadership mentality and strong relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Understanding or willingness to learn about hospital financial and operational management.

  • Proficiency in intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).

  • Enthusiasm for a progressive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

  • Valid state license in good standing.

  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
